Divine Hatchers Upgrade Order: Treadmill First, Then Base

Upgrade the treadmill first in Divine Hatchers, then the base, then repeat. Treadmill strength training raises carry weight and drives the grab-and-hatch loop.

Upgrade the treadmill first. That is the order Divine Hatchers itself sets for your upgrade spending — treadmill, then base, then repeat — and it is also where the concrete benefit sits: training strength on the treadmill lets you carry heavier objects, and carry weight decides which guard-area objects you can actually grab.

The upgrade order

  1. Upgrade the treadmill.
  2. Upgrade the base.
  3. Repeat from the top.

The treadmill and the base are the two upgrade systems the game names in this cycle, and the treadmill comes before the base every time the cycle runs. So when you are deciding where your next investment goes, the default answer is the treadmill; the base is the second purchase, and then you are back to the treadmill again.

Why the treadmill comes first

Divine Hatchers runs on one loop: grab objects from the guard areas and hatch eggs, with Divines hatching at a 0.1% rate. The treadmill feeds that loop directly. As the game puts it: "Train strength on your treadmill to carry heavier objects." Raising your carry weight is what opens up the bigger guard-area objects, and everything you grab goes toward hatching — including the rare Divines at the top of the loop.

Where the base fits

The base is the second step of the cycle. Once the treadmill upgrade is done, your next investment goes into the base — and then the cycle starts over with the treadmill, pushing your carry weight higher for the next round of grabs.
